Do you want to be an important part of an engaged team where we support each other and enjoy our work?
At Piteå Health Center, we are now looking for a curator who wants to contribute with their expertise in an environment characterized by collaboration, care, and joy at work.
We are looking for
We are looking for you who are a licensed health and medical care curator or social worker with basic training in psychotherapy or CBT level 1. You have good knowledge of Swedish spoken and written, at least C1 level. It is an advantage if you have other language skills and experience with the journal system Cosmic. Experience working as a curator at a health center is also meritorious for the position.
We place great emphasis on personal qualities. As a person, you are flexible and structured. You value and see the benefits of collaborating with others.
This is what you will work with
As a health and medical care curator at our health center, you have a central role in meeting patients with psychosocial needs related to health and illness. You provide assessment, support, and treatment for issues such as stress, crisis reactions, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
The health center has about 10,000 registered patients, which provides a wide variety of cases and the opportunity to make a difference for many. In your work, you contribute the psychosocial perspective to the primary care's overall assessment and work both independently and in close collaboration with other professionals.
We are moving towards a working method with cross-professional teams, where collaboration and joint planning become an increasingly clear part of everyday life. This means that you as a curator are an important part of the team's collective work around the patient – from early assessment to interventions and follow-up.
You will also be part of our psychosocial team, where you collaborate closely with other therapists, doctors, and care coordinators. Together, you work with structured assessments, treatment interventions, and coordination for patients who need more cohesive support. The team functions as a common hub for planning, prioritization, and development of working methods.
Examples of tasks:
• Psychosocial assessment and triage based on care level and needs
• Support and crisis conversations as well as shorter treatment contacts
• Advice and guidance to patients and relatives
• Collaboration internally (cross-professionally) and externally with e.g. municipalities, social services, employers, the Social Insurance Agency, and other care providers
• Participation in team meetings, care planning, and follow-up
• Contribute to the development of routines and working methods in the ongoing team development
This is what we offer you
- Development and career opportunities where you can help shape the future of health and care
- Health-promoting workplaces with access to wellness activities and wellness grants
